So whether you are a pastor or someone who would like to turn their messages/sermons into a book, this course will be of benefit for you.
“Write these things for the future so that people who are not yet born will praise the Lord” (Ps. 102:18).

THE CRAFT OF WRITING A BOOK CAN BE LEARNED
If you have the strong desire to write, then your job will be to learn how to write. This course will enable you to put pen to paper and write down the message God has given you to share with the world.

Course Content

These are some of the topics that we will be covering in the course

  • The nature of the writing process
  • Where do the ideas originate
  • How do the ideas become books
  • What is the role of writing in ministry Establishing your writing space. Breaking the project into small pieces.
  • Settle on your BIG idea.
  • Construct your outline.
  • Set a firm writing schedule.
  • Establish a sacred deadline.
  • Conduct your research.
  • Think reader-first.
  • Find your writing voice.
  • Write a compelling opener.
  • Fill your story with conflict and tension.
  • Write a resounding ending.
  • Become a ferocious self-editor.
The course is for 14 weeks and it takes place online every Monday 7pm-9pm
