Taking on acting roles
Before joining the course, I thought I knew what it took to take on a role as a different character, as an actor. However whilst on the course I got to learn and understand that there are different steps and processes through which an actor must go through to be able to play a convincing role as the character in a play or a drama or on stage. I believe the course equipped me with the right skills and knowledge that I could use when taking on future roles.
Perfecting my craft
I learnt a lot over the 12 weeks of the book writing course. I enjoyed the classes as they were interactive and I felt heard. I learnt a lot of skills that I will be using to perfect my craft. Looking forward to joining again next year.
First time writing experience
Thank you to all the organisers that put the script writing course together. I really enjoyed the introduction of the course. This was my first time writing a script. I’ve learnt so much about writing for theatre/stage. The lessons was very interesting and we had to participate a lot. The teachers was very supportive. The course allowed me to express my ideas and enabled me to write it as a script. It has developed my writing skills and has made me think more creatively. I can’t wait for the next part of the course.
